A call was received from Mr & Mrs P, clients who lives on the bank of the River Thames.
Lenders blamed it on flood risk
They have been declined by two equity release lenders due to flood risk. However, this has been sourced and the case is underway. The property is in flood zone 3 and I have found a lender that is able to lend the full sum of £360,000. This will allow the clients to pay off their existing interest only mortgage with Nationwide.
